I am currently working on a project that involves integrating data from CAN (Controller Area Network) files into the COVESA Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) format. Our goal is to standardize the vehicle signal data using VSS for better interoperability and data management.
To achieve this, I am seeking guidance on the best practices and tools available for converting CAN file data into the VSS format. Specifically, I would like to understand:

  1. Conversion Process: Detailed steps or a workflow for transforming CAN signal definitions into VSS YAML files.
  2. • Tools and Libraries: Any recommended tools, libraries, or scripts that can facilitate this conversion.
  3. • Examples and Documentation: Example files or documentation that illustrate the conversion of CAN signals to VSS format.
Your assistance in providing detailed information or directing me to relevant resources would be highly appreciated. If there are any specific individuals or teams within COVESA that specialize in this area, please let me know so I can reach out to them directly.
Thank you for your support and looking forward to your prompt response.
    Best regards,
