Performance issues in WSL2

Hi Community,

I am running casparcg 2.4.0 on WSL Ubuntu 22.04 download from
https://github.com/CasparCG/server/releases/download/v2.4.0-stable/casparcg-server-v2.4.0-stable-ubuntu22.zip

The performance of the screen consumer is not good and its dropping alot of frames. On the contrary ffplay renders same video file without any problems.

The screen consumer is set to 1080i5000 and the codec information of the file i am playing is below
Has anyone tried running on WSL2 before? or understands why performance is degraded on WSL2? the windows version runs just fine.
