Record over a recording

A feature that I feel the need occasionally is recording audio over another recording. This shouldn't require the recording to be already encoded or saved to disk.

1.Start the recording.
2. After some time, pause the recording and rewind (cursor goes back).
3. Hit record to record over the part after the cursor, replacing it.

This is also useful when you don't want to replace anything but instead add more to the recording in already saved files.

Being able to record over a recording that you are making is already implemented in Audio Recorder on F-Droid. Though, it lacks modification options for saved recordings.
