Nix is a declarative and reproducible package manager and build system. It brings easy to setup, identical-for-everyone development environments, and reproducibility from developer's computer to CI to the server running the mina daemon.
It also brings nice binary caches which allow to speed up builds.
We are working on a Nix-based CI system for Mina right now here
