Enhancement for the guide

I think it'd be nice if you could see which "version" the hosted guide is, so at least the ones that care can look if something is already changed or not.

That doesn't seem useful. It's pretty easy to find the current commit of the guide, you just navigate to the guide repo, and look at the home page. Not that hard to do.

This issue has been partially implemented with commit a0f95dd in the production branch. It shows the commit author and the commit date, but it doesn't show the actual commit hash.
