Selecting a single video in a playlist doesn't unselect the rest of the videos in a playlist

Hello ,
First and foremost , I appreciate the efforts done from everyone who contributed to this efforts for this app , this is by far my go to app everytime for its speed , stability , I have been struggling with absense of unselect functionality in the latest updates and would like for someone to address it whenever available

• Expected behavior :
  When pasting a large playlist , it automatically selects all the videos and If I select 1 video only it should select only that video and deselect the others , using control key to add more videos , this was working perfectly in previous versions
• Actual behavior :
  Pasting a playlist selects everything and there is no way to select only single video or a couple of videos , I have to press space then use the up and down arrows to deselecting other videos , this is making the usage much harder as my use case is a playlist that keeps on updating and I only want 1 or 2 videos , I should be able to select them only without others being unselected

I guess bringing old functionality would be perfect or , bring a bulk dselect checkbox button would solve this issue
