Can you expand on this? I'm about to start making a FirefoxOS app, and was just about to use this project...

using it is no problem, but e.g. fixing this demo app or the underlying building blocks is no use, they will be replaced with webcomponents as i was told in the bug tracker when i submitted a patch.
also rather check the examples inside the /style subfolders, because that ones are uptodate. it's fetched regulary from here: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/tree/master/shared/style
in that folder are the actual "building blocks", this repo here is just a demo app.
see https://github.com/gaia-components for the future, but they are not ready yet.

Uhm the gaia component are web components.
Firefox OS 1.3 and 1.4 not use this techonology, maybe i think that this change will be require when the 2.0 will be stable.
