We have a printer/scanner thing in our space (a bit more documentation in the wiki). Printing works rather well but scanning is a bit cumbersome (you'll either have to use a flash drive or install the manufacturer's drivers on your own device). Having a simple web frontend for scanning would be nice.

After a quick search I found scanserv (older) and scanservjs (newer).
