How easy/hard is to remove GORM and use ... SOLR? ES? or any other ORM.

We need to be able to switch them seamlessly but currently we're "married" with GORM. Research on this, estimate, and so...

How necessary is this? The guys on the FC team thought this and so went w/ the clean + repo pattern and I argued against it. If you're interested in thoughts I'm glad to share. Why is it a consideration?
