helm Installation fails #938

Was following the instructions and this error occurs. Retried several times, in case it can be fixed by retrying, but error still occurs

$ helm install ambassador --namespace ambassador datawire/ambassador
Error: INSTALLATION FAILED: failed to install CRD crds/filter.yaml: resource mapping not found for name: "filters.getambassador.io" namespace: "" from "": no matches for kind "CustomResourceDefinition" in
 version "apiextensions.k8s.io/v1beta1"
ensure CRDs are installed first
