AESify is free software. You can use it to securely encrypt PDF files.

The windows stand alone binary is distributed with non-open source Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Files, distributed under section "4. Distributable Code" of the Microsoft Software License Terms.

Distributors and external end users MAY:
- Copy and distribute the Distributable Code.
Distributors and external end users MUST:
- Agree to protect the Distributable Code at least as much as the Microsoft Software License Terms agreement does.
- Indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Microsoft from any claims, including attorneys’ fees, related to the distribution or use of your applications, except to the extent that any claim is based solely on the Distributable Code.
