The left nav you get on docs is super helpful in navigating the content.

However, at sizes below 1220px, you get a hamburger menu instead, and that has a much less useful navigation menu. 1220px is pretty wide. I almost never have my browser windows (docs or otherwise) that large, so that I can have it side by side with other windows. I think users are missing out on some helpful content by not seeing the full nav at sizes below 1220px.

Can we change the threshold for triggering the hamburger menu? Or investigate other solutions here?

solution options:

  • try different theme?
  • figure out how to configure the breakpoints?
