SUSI Linux crashing when loosing internet connectivity

Describe the bug
Earlier, when there was a disconnection, SUSI Linux would switch to flite and PocketSphinx as the tts and stt providers. Now, when there is an internet disconnection the program crashes out saying that no internet is available

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Start the Program
2. Talk generally
3. Close the internet connection
4. See the bug

Expected behavior
To restore the original functionality
