Gephi 0.9.2: can't connect to Streaming server

Hi all

I'm currently running Gephi 0.9.2 (in French) under GNU/Linux Debian 9. Everything works OK, except I'm encountering the following error when trying to connect to the Streaming server.

Expected Behavior

I'd like to gather the json information issued by Gephi with the Streaming feature enabled with a curl or with my browser at the following address: http://localhost:8080/workspace1?operation=getGraph .

Current Behavior

I get a 404: HTTP ERROR: 404 Problem accessing /workspace1. Reason: Not Found Powered by Jetty://
I tried with workspace0, it's the same.

Possible Solution

No clue.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Trying to make it simple: launching Gephi as root/user is the same.
2. I open the Miserables graph. It appears OK.
3. I click on the "Streaming" tab.
4. I check the settings. No SSL. Port 8080 (not used by any other program on my computer).
5. I right click on Server, then Start
6. I launch the URL http://localhost:8080/workspace1?operation=getGraph in my browser or via curl.

Context

I'm trying to dynamically create a graph based on data stored in Elasticsearch. This data changes with time, so new nodes and relations will be added/deleted over time, properties added... Will probably make my own Python script for that as I haven't found any other solution. For now, I'm just trying to connect to Gephi to grab or send data (add node, delete node or edge...).

OK, found it.
In French, the workspace it not labelled workspace, but espacedetravail. So the URL should be http://localhost:8080/espacedetravail1/ which is not obvious as all forums scripts and so on talk about workspace. Maybe it'd be better:

• to leave that field untranslated in all languages;
• to give a hint somewhere about the URL where to get the json.

Rename the workspace (on the menu workspace -> rename);
stop the stream server and start again.

In Gephi, create a new project with File > New Project, then Rename the workspace (on the menu workspace -> rename as "workspace1"). In the lower left view, click the "Streaming" tab, open the Master drop down, and right click Master Server > Start which starts the Graph Streaming server in Gephi and by default accepts requests at http://localhost:8080/workspace1 .
It will work!!!
