Here are the steps to reproduce this:

  1. assign more than a difficulty term to a course, e.g. 2, through the editor
  2. you'll see the 2 difficulties show up in the editor's Course Information block
  3. view the course in front
  4. you'll see only one of them showing up in the course information "section"

Two questions:

  1. Are the users supposed to have more than one difficulty per course
  2. Is it supposed to show more than one in the course catalog page?

@toyinogunseinde historically the difficulty only allowed a single option, the block editor doesn't support a selector like this with only a single option so we just allowed multiple and decided to see if anyone complained but it looks like we didn't update the rendering.

We'll get this fixed in a future release.
