Size of container

Hi I used the parts from the c++ 1.0 container to build one of my own using alpine 3.5 and the size ends up at over 1.4gb, can this be correct?

@stellanhaglund I'm not 100% sure what you are referring to in your question. Please provide the specific Dockerfiles that you are using.

I've got an image which is about ~150MB when I install it in alpine, but when I base mine off this, the size blows up to ~950MB
