Git commit and push configuration unclear

I have created some daily journals on logseq. I installed this plugin so I would be able to sync all my work with git. However, I am unable to understand how to configure it so that all of the notes, journals, etc, basically all the content on my logseq are synchronised with remote repository, and it is terribly difficult to do so.
Can someone who has already done this please update the demo section in the README? Any and all details will be helpful.

I have a problem where i have autopush and commit and push enabled/triggered, but it does not push to remote. I have to manually omen up VSCode and press sync so that the changes get uploaded to remote.

Can this be implemented? Also can you add some toasts that shows if the action is done? We have toast when its error but no toast when its done..
