Simulated grid export after battery charging not available until first export occurs #108
Comments
Hello, running the same version as @smytangel
|
I think that is correct. I just looked at the data and it shows that the sensor started reporting 9 hours ago and at that time I also exported a litte bit of power. So my installation is working right now :). |
Ok thanks. I'll still try to fix it as it should have a reading
immediately, but glad it's working now.

Hi, also myn install. is working now. Only have that error on energy dashboard. |
So I have no solar so I will never export for real, however I just added my first simulated battery. First of all the energy dashboard doesn't make sense to me, but I think this is a known issue (e.g. it assumes battery is charged from solar and discharging only into house load and not exporting to grid), I think this here is the same or a similar issue. Where because I'm not exporting (0.000kWh) there is also no simulated export. I assumed it would be exporting virtually everything 'between' the house load and the discharge rate of the battery. |
Ah, I hadn't considered that use case. I will have to add some
functionality in the next release to get that working.

I have added a 0kWh sensor and added it as solar production. Now my energy
dashboard makes slightly more sense, still not getting any simulated grid
export though:

So all my battery out is counted as house consumption instead of grid
export.
