Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

Some dialog boxes have the button and corresponding label spread apart which makes it difficult to figure out which label belongs to which switch. Other labels have been placed the other way around, which works much better.

Example of acceptable switch - label position

Good label position

Example of bad switch - label position

Bad label position

Describe the behavior you expected

Consistent layout of switch labels. Labels must be adjacent to the switch they relate to, similar to the first example.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. On a dashboard create a new tile card
  2. Add a switch entity to the card
  3. While still in edit mode expand Appearance
  4. Observe described issue
