@lesommer do you have any thoughts about which licenses we should attach to nemo-simsar? Is there any demand by the EC you might be aware of? I do remember that the question of license appeared during the application phase and we stated that we would deploy the software under some public license but we did not refer to a specific license, didn't we?

@lmicallef , did you use any third-party software (e.g. snippets) other than the imported modules?

• git (BSD-3)
• svn.local (GPL 2.0; see REVIEW: use of python svn 1.0.1 #23)
• jinja2 (BSD-3)
• pycurl (LGPL/MIT; but it not really used: pycurl is not really used #22)
• wget (Public Domain)
• netCDF4 (personal license; kind of MIT+ISC)

Other modules are part of the python standard library:

I'm not sure about the consequences of the GPL-2 license the svn package is distributed under... The package nxpy-svn (Boost Software License 1.0), a wrapper for the local svn client, could provide a work-around.
