How to use interpolation with a linked message?

For example:

'message1': 'has some {0} interpolation',
'message2': "uses message1 @:{'message1', ['foobar']}", // syntax error

How can I make that not a syntax error, but work? i.e. message2 should be "uses message1 has some foobar interpolation"

Or is this not possible today and should be a feature request?

This is quite a basic example so you might think why would I do that, but in actual use the interpolation might be of some other message key, or something passed in to message2 itself, etc.
