Our site currently has:

  • both old-style collection (Topic) objects and new-style collections (Collection) objects.
  • the active plone.app.collection 1.0.15 addon, which provides the new-style Collection.

We need collection-like functionality in our 5.1 build, and we need the current objects (both kinds) migrated to appropriate 5.1 content.

Questions?

  1. What is the standard pattern we should be going to here? Can we migrate content into a single, dexterity collection-like type?
  2. How many are there?
  3. Do we have any cases of sub-topics?
