All ChatGPT Webs in your plugin: Most of the time it failed to log in (even when I keep the ChatGPT page open, like it says in a message as an answer). And when it doesn't fail to log in, it takes really too long before answering.

Gemini Web: Really often it answers in only showing "eng" or by showing a link to a map, without any reasons.

Otherwise, I love your extension. Claude Web and Bing Web work perfectly, most of the time.

OpenAI frequently alters their web verification methods and applies varied approaches for different accounts, causing this extension to often become ineffective and necessitate strategy updates. Beginning with v2.5.7, I have used Claude.ai as the default API mode because it has very good stability and excellent performance.

Using the official API directly is the best solution 😅

Still, there must be a way to fix that log-in problem. It is not normal that 80% of the time I need to "retry" 4-5 times before it logs in any ChatGPT Web modules. :/ And the rare times it works right away, then the problem manifests itself again after one or two follow-up questions.

Then one needs to pay to use it. Right? :(

I see your point. Yes, using the official API requires payment, but it offers a stable and efficient service. Quality services and technology need resources to keep improving, and these payments support the development of better AI models. The good news is that OpenAI's API is very affordable—whether you're using GPT-4o or GPT-4o-mini, most users might not even spend two dollars a month. In the long run, this small investment can save you time and avoid the frustration of system issues.

If saving time and effort is vital, the paid API offers a more efficient experience. Alternatively, you could explore other projects that turn AI services into APIs, which you can set up locally for ChatGPTBox. If time isn't a big concern, manually copying content to the free version of ChatGPT web UI is always an option. Or, consider using ChatGPT to contribute to the project and help improve the tools together.
