Infinite loop

I have no idea how to reproduce it, but I've seen the code renderer go into an infinite loop and make VS Code (partially) unresponsive. In the window below, I just added some lines to a block comment. Note that it did not get rendered in the comment color. VS Code no longer worked correctly. Specifically, I could navigate the code and manually edit it, but copy and paste no longer worked. I had to force-quit the renderer, then restart VS Code.
