@gianggss9292 thanks for report, still this error doesn't fully indicate it comes from es5-ext postinstall script.

Can you simply do npm install es5-ext in some bare plain package with no other dependencies, and report what you get there?

Thank you for your reply,
I got the above error when doing npm install gulp -g after installing [email protected].
I did the same process but with [email protected] without any error.

@gianggss9292 thanks I believe fix for #181 exposed this issue.

I'll probably revert that, still it'll be great to know if there's a way to have both issues addressed

Reverted problematic patch, and published with v0.10.64
