Every once in a while I see a clip that gets published without a text commentary attached to it - recently, this one: http://www.criticalcommons.org/Members/dianadepasquale/clips/bisexuality-in-film-and-tv-30-rock
[NOTE: since I contacted her, the contributor has added a commentary, so this is no longer a good example!]

I wrote to the contributor, asking how she made the clip viewable without a commentary but she didn't respond. I believe this is an artifact of having turned on the ability of users to delete their own clips (see Markos' note in closed ticket #2). I suspect this user manually changed the clip's status to "Published" using the green "Edit" tab, which was previously disabled. If this is possible, it is a problem that undermine's the site's core functionality (no clips without commentaries!). Is there any other way to allow users to delete media without also allowing them to publish clips without commentaries? Alternatively, is there a way to disable a user's ability to manually publish a clip?

Hi Steve - I think it should be easy to give permission for Advanced Users to have Actions to delete a clip, without giving them permission to Publish a clip....

BUT I would need Markos's confirmation of this!

Is this true, Markos?
