Cosmic Terminal - cannot highlight and copy more than the current screen view

I am unable to highlight text in the Cosmic Terminal and scroll down past the current terminal view.

If I ant to capture the output on the screen and that output is more than one "page" view in the terminal the cursor will not move past the current "page" of the terminal.

And xclip doesn't work!

EDIT: I found wl-copy - the lack of the ability to scroll and copy should still be fixed ... IMHO

If I install Terminator then I am able to perform the copy and paste that I am unable to do using the Cosmic terminal.
