[feature request] hardware management #1128

It would be super useful to have an app or something in the settings that shows and offers the following:

an overview of all your installed hardware with their current drivers
hardware which isn’t installed properly
offer the option to reinstall the drivers for uninstalled hardware by showing a compatible list of drivers
offer the option to manage kernel versions (in the hope that some missing drivers will be installed).

It’s like the hardware manager in Windows but than for Linux.

I think the Update Manager of Linux Mint offers a similar functionality.

This is useful for anyone, especially for new comers into Linux.
