Hello! I wanted to ask for help!
We discovered this https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/blob/bf8fff783ff533c055d276378ada30563312def1/tests/run-make/tools.mk and we wanted to adjust our Makevars, to include these (without CRAN complaints).
My issue is that I don't know how to do a uname way of assigning the right PKG_CFLAGS, and PKG_LIBS.

PKG_CFLAGS
PKG_LIBS
Do you have some guidance on this? It could really improve the portability of Rust in R.
