media player not playing live video streams

good day I'm looking for help we currently use my media player and local so that for an RP busness can play their own stuff where we are running into an issue is one of my r p business ideas I would like to Rana air quotes radio station or TV station so to do that I look to utilize YouTube live streaming because shoutcast just takes you to a dead Gmod tower link when you try and load my personal life stream or a random one-off Youtube it just says it can't be played in this browser any help would be greatly appreciated is that something I should be talking with the servers development team or is that just a physical limitation of the media player that can't be worked around thank you in advance for any information you can offer
