Signing WPF Apps

Hi,

I am a "lone-wolf" developer, developing a WPF application that I intend to sell online when it is ready.

I understand that I need a certificate to sign the binary files (DLL & EXE).

I have never done this before, so I could use some advice.

At the start, I thought that I could use "Let's Encrypt" to get a free cert, but I see that I was mistaken.

From what I can determine, there are a number of different kinds of certificates, and they can cost anywhere from $200 to $1000.

Is fulco working on anything that will generate a cert for WPF?

If so, when do you hope to have it ready?

If not, can anyone point me in the right direction for getting a certificate and signing my binaries?

Any assistance with this would be appreciated.
