This was a tricky thing to try to document. The parameters serve as the default value for the blocks' props. If you look here, https://storybook.js.org/docs/react/api/doc-block-argtypes#exclude, you can see an example of how that is documented. And the section above that, Configuring with props and parameters, attempts to explain how they work together. |

Hey, everyone! Very happy to share that we have finally published a Parameters API reference: https://storybook.js.org/docs/api/parameters There are only a few parameters for the Storybook core. Instead, nearly all of them belong to addons. So this reference links off to each of the essential addon's docs, which have also been updated to list their available parameters and options. |

What are these parameters? It's not defined in Typescript and I don't know what options do I have in parameters? I keep Googling what I might do with it and I keep getting all sorts of assumptions. One of them is this "docs: { iframeHeight: 500 }". Of course it doesn't work. But the real question is, why don't you just define them or list them in the docs?? How are we supposed to know what these parameters are? |
