Is your feature request related to a problem?

After upgrading to SurrealDB 2.x and port-forwarding from my dev maschine to my local one via SSH and attempting to connect to it via the Surrealist app (1.11.6), I thought that maybe it didn't work because the desktop client was outdated.

So, I went to the webapp ( https://surrealist.app/ ) and when that could not retrive the version information, I checked the browser console and then Brave's built-in ad/tracking blocker... and I think I lost a marble.

Okay; that might have sounded overexaggerated. Still, I did want to bring this to your attention; I don't know if it helps.

Describe the solution

I don't know what exactly Posthog is, but due to the frequency of requests, I assume it is some form of telemetry software. If possible, ask the user before making requests.

Have you considered contributing this feature yourself?

Sadly I don't have the time and mainly wanted to bring this to your attention, in case it is of interest. I am working on writing an enterprise application with SurrealDB and just needed a UI for it - that's all.
