Hi @dhirajsb , @dongniwang - w/r/t #1245 derived from Data Buckets #1110, we want to add human readable name and optional description on the DataShape, so in this case (Describe DataShape for the typeless connector) we would want to allow users to input those in the action configuration page.

Just to make sure I understand the request, are you suggesting adding an additional field on this page?

yes I think that's it, we want to add

• data shape name (let's say within 20 characters, will be shown as a label in datamapper and integration flow)
• data shape description (could be a bit longer, will be shown as a tooltip in datamapper)

New UX requirements:

• Data shape display name (max. 20 characters)
• data shape description (optional)

Questions for @igarashitm - is data shape the same as data type? In the UX design, I've been using data type, e.g. describe data type, specify data type (see screenshot in SJ's previous comment).
