Performance of uvgRTP against other frameworks

Hi,

I've seen that you provide a quite nice benchmark comparing uvgRTP with other frameworks, in particular with Live555. I wonder if someone already tested uvgRTP versus others like GStreamer or JRTPLIB? I have a pretty good experience with the latter but I'm thinking about changing to a more modern framework like yours. Since it's an enterprise product, gstreamer is also in the short list considering its flexibility and maintainability (but it also looks more time consuming to implement in the first place)

No, we have not tested against GStreamer or JRTPLIB. Overall, the performance differences are often not significant since the RTP process does not consume much CPU unless you are working in a low power environment such as embedded systems.

GStreamer probably has more features than uvgRTP, but uvgRTP is much easier to use and adopt.
