Hello!
We have several Umbraco installations because our markets operate differently (from many aspects). But some editors are involved with more than one market/site which makes the issue I'm about to present even more administratively challenging.
When any editor copy a node to get a head start on new content, since it's also faster to edit existing than to create from scratch - it's too easy to miss to uncheck 'Relate to original'. After that, if you ever come back, if there is a relation or not; is too difficult to tell. The answer is practically hidden, and not very intuitive what the relation is about once you find it, specially for non-tech-savvy people.
It's unreasonable to always begin an edit with looking for this - so you do not make a save that populates across many pages.
It can also the unnecessarily disrupt content transfer/restore's becuase of a relation that was unintended. So you get stuck and need to trickle your way around it with multiple segmented transfers and/or actually just redoing a lot of content.
There is no way of removing a relation.
I can give more examples but this indivual setting which's always ON has been terrible for us in many ways and for us we cannot even say once it's been useful...
Can we please have an admin setting so we can toggle it OFF by default instead please?
