In the Techniques, the list of navigation aids is constructed in a different order than what is seen in the compact explanation in the Display guide. If all conditions are met, the displayed explanation is:
"Navigation by table of contents, index, supports page navigation, and headings"
To match the order in the Display Guide Example 12, the Techniques would need to reverse the order of steps 3 and 4.
4.10 Additional accessibility information
In the Display guide, every feature is a separate explanation, but in the Techniques, features under one grouping heading are concatenated into a single comma and "and" separated string. I think they should be separate explanations (Sentence construction for translations #460 (comment)).
The Display guide mentions seven distinct headings to group features under. But in the Techniques, every feature is grouped under two of these (Adaptation and Clarity). Specifically:
In the ONIX Techniques, braille, tactile graphic, tactile object features are grouped under Adaptation.
In the Display Guide, Tactile is a distinct heading for grouping content.
In the ONIX Techiques, "visible page numbering " is included under Clarity
In the Display Guide 4.10, Page breaks is a distinct heading for grouping features.
In the EPUB Techniques, both Aria and page break markers are included under Clarity.
In the Display Guide 4.10, Page breaks are a distinct heading and Aria is mentioned under Structure.
The Display guide links to the Techniques document using a heading "Book features" that does not exist in the Techniques.
The sections 4.5 Navigation and 4.10 Additional Information should be aligned with the guidelines in structure and the order of information.
