I am running the ugs on Mageia Linux 8. Classic version shows up ok, but the platform version has some fonts which looks awful.
I am propably missing some of the required fonts and because of that some bad alternatives gets selected for example to editors and menu items. I saw the issue #1622 and tried to use
"_JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on -Dswing.aatext=true' " option. But it did not solve my problem, it actually make even the file selection fonts looking bad.
To trouble shoot the issue, I would like to try to configure some other font in use from the source code. Can you point me the location where that is set? In the long run, it would be ideal if one could actually switch the font-names and sizes used from some config file.
