Files can be sent and received via a variety of ways to CEmu. Some things listed here:

Sending files to the CEmu emulator

If you wish to send a file, i.e. a program, to an emulated CEmu instance you can:

  • Drag and drop a file anywhere on the CEmu window
  • Drag and drop a file on the LCD screen to send to either RAM or Archive
  • Use the File->Open menu
  • Use the Variables dock in order to send a file, or resend a recent transfer. Use Ctrl+X to resend all checked recent files

Transferring files from CEmu

Using the Variables dock, you can use the appropriate button to show a list of available files. Using right-click, you can even use this menu to quickly launch programs. If you want to send files from CEmu to the computer, you can:

  • Select one or multiple files to transfer
  • Either transfer as a single group file, or as individual files

Note: When transferring as a group, large groups over 64KB may cause errors in other programs. It is generally better to transfer files individually if you are not sure.
