The resources page aims to help point participants to the wide range of tutorials and tools available for working with ICESat-2 data. This includes a gallery of tutorials.

The tutorial gallery is implemented as a custom sphinx extension based on the Executable Books Gallery. Although each tutorial could be added as a panel or card, this implementation means contributors can simply fill out the required fields of the yaml and the gallery will be built automatically during the JupyterBook build.

This is neat! I wasn't familiar with adding a local sphinx extension to do fancy formatting like this. Adding a link to the docs for future reference https://jupyterbook.org/en/stable/advanced/sphinx.html#local-sphinx-extensions
