- Install the latest Slicer Stable Release (currently Slicer-5.6.2);
- Clone or Download(clicking in the button in the image above, don't forget to unzip the file before proceed) this repository to anywhere on your computer;
- For Windows users: Open 3D Slicer and drag-and-drop the
TutorialMaker
folder to the Slicer application window, click OK to "Add Python scripted modules...", and click yes to load the module - For MacOs users: Open 3D Slicer click on Edit and then click on Application settings, on the lateral menu select Module, then drag and drop
TutorialMaker.py
into the additional module path. Finally, click OK and restart Slicer.
Important
Before running this tutorial, set the Slicer to FULLSCREEN and the font size to 14pt, so the screenshots can be readable.
- The screenshots will appear on the left
- Each screenshot have a Title(green arrow) and a Comment(red arrow)
- Select one of the three tools to annotate
- After selecting a tool, define the style and the text of the annotation
- Then click on the element that will receive the annotation
Warning
For people who have epilepsy, the screen will blink for each screenshot.
The Screenshots with Annotations are now saved in the Module folder under Outputs;
