BADALISK vsn 1.0 A proxy server written in Erlang. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) INSTALLATION 2) START BADALISK 3) CONFIGURE BADALISK 4) STOP BADALISK 5) UNINSTALL 6) VARIOUS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) INSTALLATION: Badalisk proxy server can be installed using the Makefile. To install it go to the main directory with your shell and type: $ make All .beam files will be placed inside the ebin directory. Badalisk comes with a simple configuration file. You will find it inside the priv directory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) START BADALISK: To start Badalisk use: $ erl -boot badalisk_rel-1 or: $ erl -pa ebin 1> application:start(badalisk). Badalisk will be started in form of an Erlang application. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) CONFIGURE BADALISK User can change the configuration parameters calling in the Erlang shell badalisk_conf module. Configuration file can be switched at will: 2> badalisk_conf:change_conf_file("yourdir/yourconf.cfg"). User can also change only one parameter at time (e.g. change port number): 3> badalisk_conf:update(port, 1235). Moreover user can bring Badalisk back to old configuration file using: 4> badalisk_conf:revert(). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) STOP BADALISK To stop Badalisk use: 5> application:stop(badalisk). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) UNISTALL BADALISK: Badalisk can be uninstalled as: $ make clean ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6) VARIOUS For comments, questions or suggestions drop us a message (see COPYING for mail address).
