Hello, world! My name is Devon. In my free time, I keep myself busy by making things for other people, including:

• Maintaining Small World, a small open source tool that helps you make new friends and stay in touch with old ones
• Hosting the Order Without Design podcast with Alain & Marie-Agnes Bertaud, my favorite urban economists and the most interesting couple I know
• Contributing to open source, especially tools for thought
• Interviewing computing pioneers for a video series called Tools & Craft
• Helping people visualize an optimistic vision of the future of cities

I've started this sponsorship page for three reasons:

1. It costs money to host Small World, and without sponsorship, I'd have to turn off at some point due to the monthly Heroku bill.
